I seriously have no time for this. I don't even know why I opened my blog account. It feels like everyone is blogging these days and I'm afraid if I don't start documenting every moment--or at least special moments--with my husband and kids, then I will be missing out. I'm afraid when I'm all wrinkled up in a retirement home (I mean retired in my dream home), and everyone is reading past blogs from their lives with teary eyes and sharing their favorite posts I won't have anything to share. I decided I can't spend my last years of life missing out. Let me say that again.
I decided I can't spend my last years of life when my memory is shot and Mitchell has even less memory than me (or remembers it wrong--sorry babe, but you do that sometimes) with no recollection of my one beautiful life. I'm having so much fun being a wife and mother. I love my life. It would be tragic if I forgot it all. I want to remember everything!
So I guess this blog is really for me. And yes, I will share it with close family and friends (Hi everyone!). And I'm sure throughout the years I will prop my kids on my lap and share special posts. But my real audience is this audience of one. It's for me at a much older age when I'm looking back at all that God has given me and remembering how truly blessed I am--ready to move on to something even bigger and better. Heaven!
(FYI for anyone who comes across my blog: I'm a bona fide Christian--a Jesus freak! Being my personal blog I reserve the right to get as spiritual as I want. If you're offended, then don't read it.)
Ok, so it's official. I'm making this blog public and away we go!! Don't know how frequent it will be--weekly? monthly? Or just when amazing moments or amazing people move me to write, I mean to blog. :) And so you are aware, 80/90 year old Crissy, you aren't an amazing writer. Most stuff sounds better in my head then on the screen (see how you just went from first person to third person point of view in one paragraph--that's what I mean). Happy blogging!! :)
Can't have a blog post without pictures!

| Aedan at church yesterday reading the bulletin with prego Aunt Nikki. Such a little mister! |
And for those who want to peruse through past posts you are free to do so. They are simply quick ramblings throughout the past 2 years whenever I had a moment to stop, think and blog. Moving forward I hope to be more committed and aware of misspellings and run on sentences. (Dictionary.com is on my favorite's bar).
